In the first part of 2020, Houzz conducted a survey of 87,000 respondents, asking how long it took to plan and complete typical home remodeling projects. The results may surprise you.

Time to Completion Typical Projects:

• Kitchen – 4.5 months

• Master Bedroom – 3.1 months

• Laundry Room – 2.9 months

• Master Bathroom – 3.2 months

• Guest/Other Bathroom – 2.9 months

The actual time for a project is influenced by the work done, location of the project in the house, and finishing selections. The more time spent on the front end planning the project, the smoother the project will progress.
